DANA will build a new plant in Escobedo, Nuevo Leon, to produce an automotive axles and support OEMs’ efforts towards electrification, said Jaime Rodríguez, Governor of Nuevo Leon. The new plant will bring an initial investment of US$40 million and generate 350 new jobs. “DANA has chosen Nuevo Leon due to his capable people and the talent the state has in the industrial sector. We keep attracting foreign investments to create jobs and improve quality of life,” stated the government. DANA’s five-year goal is to invest a total of US$120 million in this plant. DANA is a Tier 1 company and a leader in the design and manufacture of highly efficient propulsion and energy-management solutions.
